thrown to the wolves

I

SM was extremely eventful this week because the deadlines were hitting harder, and everything got real extremely quickly. I now need to purchase a professional outfit, prepare for my original project, build my contact list, and complete all of my assignments on time. At first, I felt extremely unprepared because I did not realize the intensity, and it felt like with each assignment a thread came to lose as I lost more sleep over it. However, it was important for me to feel this way, so I can piece myself back together, and make a schedule to stick to. Hence, each day, I came home and took notes in my planner as to what I would do today in relation to ISM. Although the process is still new, and I am still trying to make changes to fit my schedule, I know in a couple of weeks, I will be extremely thankful for myself.

In addition to learning all of the due dates, I also did research on business proposals and created the first draft of my resume. My research on business proposals allowed me to discover that there are many types of business proposals, the main sections of a business proposal, and where I can get templates to a fantastic proposal. Because I would like to write a business proposal as my original project, I think this article will be extremely helpful to me. As for my resume, at first, it was challenging to figure out what parts are important to include and exclude as well as knowing how to make it more professional. However, I had a lot of fun making my resume because it allowed me to reflect on all of my achievements which was a huge confidence booster.

Although this week was extremely stressful and made me feel insecure and unsure at times, I also learned life skills such as managing my time more efficiently as well as about my own topic of study. Hence, I am glad, and I think it is normal to feel like you are being thrown to the wolves at times because it means you are challenging yourself and teaches you perseverance.
