Mentorship Experience

Last week I continued to explore the intricacies of building a business. I reviewed the skills needed to be a better entrepreneur through articles suggested by my mentor. I learned a lot about what it means to be a better leader. In addition to that, I also consistently kept in touch with Mr.Patry through email and text. I updated him about my research, and we also talked about what we plan to do during the next meeting. Mr.Patry suggested that we should meet at a grocery store like Whole Foods or Sprouts. He suggested this because in order to be a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur it is necessary to learn all parts and various types of business. Therefore, we planned to explore brand management and revenue models at our next meeting. I am still not familiar with marketing, and I have heard it is one of the most useful skills to have as an entrepreneur. Therefore, I hope to learn how to sell in the next meetings.

In the next few weeks, I hope to have more meetings with my mentor and finalize my final product idea. I feel that once I have a clear idea for my final product, l will be able to do many other tasks more efficiently. I am extremely looking forward to working with Mr.Patry.
